MT. ROSS

For the first time over this way, a studio artwork created as a thick oil painting has been photographed and cleaned up to become a flat high quality archival print. Influenced by growing up watching the Madman from Muncie, Indiana- Bob Ross, the brushstrokes and paint marks act as a quiet meditation on one of my childhood heroes, hopefully providing a quiet, meditative viewing experience.

I tend to write these descriptions in the third person, as if it weren’t just me and some paints and a printer. But that’s what the reality of this operation is and occasionally something gets made and works without me trying to attach a bunch of bells and whistles to it. This one works because mountains always work.
